Opening the highly anticipated restaurant Addison, the dining room at the Grand
Del Mar Resort in San Diego, has been a great experience for Wine Director and Sommelier,
Jesse Rodriguez. He pulled together the wine program and led the staff in their
wine education. But, he was up to the task. In his previous position as Head Sommelier
at The French Laundry in Napa Valley, California, Jesse Rodriguez worked in one
of the finest restaurants in the United States, and had all of Napa Valley to choose
from right outside the back door. Working directly with Chef/Owner Thomas Keller,
Jesse helped to maintain the restaurant's impeccable wine service. His daily duties
