SOMMselections Feature Articles and Columns

Each issue of SOMMselections includes articles written by Sommelier and Editor Lisa Minucci and her team of SOMMeliers. You will find such articles as “Decantations,” by Sommelier Alan Kropf of the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge, in which he explains the mystique surrounding decanting wine and offers you advice on when to decant wine, and why. For readers interested in the technical aspects of winemaking, you will find such articles as “Wood You or Woodn’t You?” This article by Sommelier Michael Flynn of the Mansion on Turtle Creek explores the history and science behind barrel aging.
