Database Access.

You will have access to our Wine Asset Management database of thousands of producers, varietals, appellations and all the necessary information to accurately describe your wine. Our highly intuitive system knows the hierarchy of each region, sub-region, and appellation, so you don’t need to be a Master Sommelier to enter complete data

2-Ply Barcodes.

We will provide you with as many of our exclusive 2-ply barcodes as you’ll need to inventory your collection. The system keeps track of your barcode numbers and reminds you when you need to order more labels. It even provides a worksheet to take all of your information to your cellar to attach the labels and record the position of each bottle.

Free Service.

While we suggest that you use our barcode system, we do not require it. As a service to our clients, we also offer the ability to add wine to the system without charge. Yes, you may manage your entire collection on Vintrust’s wine management system for free. Just register to get started.

Our expert data entry team will:

Research and enter current market value for each wine.

Provide ratings from Robert Parker, Steve Tanzer and the Wine Spectator for each wine with an auto-search link to the actual reviews for subscribers of each reviewer's website.

Once inventoried, you can search your collection through your online account. For instance, look for all of your Barbaresco’s from 1990-1995 with a Parker score of 90 and above that are in your home cellar. The system will even tell you where to find each selection.

To get started, simply register as a Vintrust Member (free of charge), set up your online account and order your first set of barcode labels.

It’s nice to know what wine you have currently and where it is, but your collection is dynamic. As wine is purchased, consumed or sold, we provide the online tools to maintain the integrity of Your Vintrust portfolio data.

New Purchases.

You can use the system to record new purchases – even pre-arrival purchases, or you can let Vintrust do it. Any purchases made through Vintrust or sent to Vintrust for storage will automatically be inventoried. We can also add wine that we don’t actually handle. Simply send the purchase information to us and we will enter the wine, including original cost and source of each wine (a bottle image may or may not show). We will charge $1.00 per line item for entering new purchase data.

Consumption, Gifts or Sales.

Use the system to record any wine removed from your cellar, whether you give it, drink it or sell it. In either case, you can scan the barcode as the wine is removed, or easily remove the top layer of the barcode label and place it in a tasting book or note pad. The system allows for manual entry or barcode scanning. When you remove wine from your online account, you will have the option to record the date and reason for removal, as well as enter a personal tasting note.
