Barcoding your bottles adds efficiency and security to each bottle in your collection. Our barcodes are special 2-ply labels composed of two layers. The bottom piece (the one that sticks to and remains on the bottle) is transparent. The top layer is the actual barcode label – a very small branded label with the barcode and number. The barcodes are small and easy to remove, yet strong enough to endure years in a cold, humid environment.
We designed the industry's only 2-ply label for two reasons. First, to allow for easy removal as you serve the wine or offer the bottle as a gift, leaving only the transparent portion on the bottle. Second, to maintain adhesive strength of the barcode itself, should you decide to place it in a book or on a pad for recording/scanning the removal at a later date.
