Sebastian Ruggieri was born in Cordoba, Argentina. He came to the United States at the age of twenty, attracted by dynamic culinary arts and wine scene in the United States. His first steps in the food and beverage industry were in Biloxi, Mississippi working as a waiter in a restaurant. It was then he realized his passion for fine dining and wines.
Sebastian is the Sommelier at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort on Marco Island, Florida. He also acts as Wine Supervisor and Assistant Manager at Nemacolin Hotel in Pennsylvania. This exclusive resort has fourteen different restaurants, including two fine dining establishments.
Sebastian is currently studying with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Beside good wines and cheese, Sebastian's loves to get together with his close friends and with his family in Argentina.
