Greg Quinn grew up outside of Chicago and developed a passion for food and dining at a young age. "Chicago is loaded with great ethnic restaurants. From a young age my parents exposed me to authentic Greek, Chinese and Italian cuisine. The flavors and styles of dining fascinated me."

Graduating from Indiana University in 1994, Greg found work in the restaurant business to be a perfect vehicle to support his passion for music and travel. "I was working at Lennie's restaurant when they decided to add a brew pub to the operation. I became fascinated by the brewing process and often lead public tours of our brewing facility."

In 1998, Greg moved to San Francisco in order to broaden his horizons. "I was dead set on getting out of the restaurant business, but when I saw the incredible level of creativity in the San Francisco restaurant scene, I was hooked." After a managerial stint at Yoshi's at Jack London Square, Greg became the General Manager and Wine Director of Indigo Restaurant. "Indigo had started building a cellar full of California's best wines. I was lucky to step into a situation with a supportive owner who helped me develop a 500 selection, California-focused wine list." Indigo's wine list has held Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" for four consecutive years.

After his 6-year stint at Indigo, Greg accepted the position of General Manager and Wine Director of Annabelle's Bar and Bistro. "Annabelle's is a San Francisco landmark. The high visibility of the location and the diversity of our clientele combine to make up a unique food and wine experience. On the wine side, we are striving to match our clientele's diversity by offering a wide array of food-friendly wines in the format of a compact 125-bottle list."
